The Kelowna Hot Yoga Studio along with Ultra-lover of running Shirlee Ross, have joined forces to present this unique opportunity to experience the exciting combination of Running and Power Hot Yoga. The mission/purpose of our clinic is to provide you with the upmost personal attention to assist you in reaching your highest potentional. We intend to do this by incorporating a self-challenging, invigorating, 1.5 hr running session one day, with a Power Hot Class the next session, all with running as the main focus. Our program will focus on supporting participants with the following discussion topics: Basic Training, Injury prevention, Nutrition/Hydration, Gear and shoes, and Meditation. As well, we will hear tales of Motivation and Inspiration from runners themselves that will encourage you to go further than you ever dreamed possible!
Clinic Start Date: Tuesday, September 20th, 6 pm. Half hour of class followed by approximately one hour of walk/run.
End Date: Friday, October 28th, 5:15 pm. Power Hot Yoga Class 75 minutes in length, geared towards runners.
Clinic fee is $200 which includes 6 weekes- 12 classes. 6 beginner to intermediate running sessions and 6 Power Hot Yoga sessions.
We will gather at KHYS for the run as well as yoga component (obviously ) You will need a pair of good running shoes, (no need for fancy) a water bottle and an open attitude!!! For yoga, please bring a beach towel, mat, water bottle and a change of clothes if desired. (Towels and mats are available for rent)
